Cinnamon Cheese Toast
Hi bloggers and food lovers! Have a great day, everyone. Today I’m sharing a delicious breakfast recipe to kickstart your day, it’s simple and uses easily accessible ingredients. I absolutely love the rich aroma of cinnamon, so this time I’m making cinnamon toast that’s perfect to enjoy with coffee in the morning. Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 6 slices of white bread
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 70 ml milk
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Trim the crusts off the white bread, leaving only the white part
- Roll out the white bread with a rolling pin or whatever you have on hand
Prepare the margarine and ground cinnamon
Mix until well combined
- Spread the mixture over the flattened white bread slices
- Add slices of mozzarella cheese on top
- Roll up the bread
- Repeat the same process for the remaining five slices of bread
- Crack the egg into a bowl
Add the milk and vanilla extract
Add a pinch of salt
- Whisk the egg and milk mixture until well combined
- Dip the bread rolls into the egg and milk mixture
- Heat a pan greased with margarine
- Fry the dipped bread rolls
Fry until cooked through and golden brown
Repeat until all the bread rolls are cooked
- Sprinkle the fried bread rolls with a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon
- Serve while warm and enjoy with a hot cup of coffee
