Butter Tteok Snack
Hi bloggers and food lovers, what are you eating today? Today I’m going to share one of the snacks that’s gone pretty viral online recently, have you ever heard of butter Tteok?
It’s a butter rice cake with a crunchy surface and a chewy inside, it’s not too sweet on its own, and the aroma was amazing, the butter scent is incredibly fragrant the moment you open the package. Today I bought it at my favorite spot, Anyong Cafe Studio.
This snack is something I never expected to make me this happy when I took a bite. Right after heating it in the microwave, the butter aroma seemed to fill the whole room. With the first bite, crunch The outer crust of this rice cake is incredibly crunchy in the mouth, and the filling is chewy and melts as you eat it. It comes with a sweet, thick sauce made from sweetened condensed milk. I had no idea that the combination of butter tteok and this sweet sauce would be such a perfect match.
For my drink, I ordered a glass of iced strawberry tea. This iced strawberry tea was the perfect pairing on the day I had it. The fragrant aroma of the strawberry tea accompanied my afternoon with the butter tteok. It was a day I’ll never forget.
Besides the butter tteok and iced strawberry tea, I also ordered Jajangmyeon, a signature Korean dish featuring black bean sauce. The Jajangmyeon here is also one of my favorite menu item, topped with a sunny-side-up egg and sliced meat mixed with black bean sauce and the aromatic scent of sesame oil, it’s truly delightful.
The noodles are chewy and melt-in-my-mouth
