Bake Smashed Potatoes
Hi bloggers and food lovers, what’s on your dinner menu today? Today I’m going to share a savory and delicious idea for a dinner or light snack. It’s made with potatoes and isn’t fried. Potatoes with cheese then smashed them. Okay, let’s get right to it
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of potatoes
- tomato sauce
- sliced cheese
- cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- water
- corn
- 5 beef meatballs
- olive oil
- oregano
Instructions:
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water
- Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil
- Once it starts boiling, add the potatoes to the pot
- Add salt to the boiling water
Boil until the potatoes are tender
Once tender, drain the potato water
Prepare a baking tray and line it with parchment paper
- Place grated cheddar cheese on the tray
- Place the potatoes on top of the cheese
- Press the potatoes flat and thin with a spoon or glass
- Brush olive oil over the potatoes
- Spread tomato sauce on top
- Add sliced cheese, corn and sliced beef meatballs on top
- Sprinkle oregano on top
- Bake the potatoes in the oven at 200°C until they turn golden brown and start to dry out for 30 minutes
- Remove and let the potatoes cool
- The bake mashed potatoes are ready to eat
