A continuation of PlatON lately, thread 2 of 10 and I must say, my view surrounding privacy has been broaden and I hope this also applies to you after reading through.

Over the past couple of weeks, PlatON has consistently published new reports regarding its Confidential Token Research Report and I must say my perspective relating to token confidentiality has taken new leaps, from what is privacy to why privacy and thread 2 simplify these in ways you never expected.

The term confidentiality can be described in various forms, from individual privacy to the entire public, it changes based on its use case and requirements.

Thread 2 of 10 simplifies the term that confidential token doesn't generally means privacy but rather controlled privacy in ways that can be audited, verified and hidden when necessary.

This has become necessary based on how far and wide crypto and blockchain technology have come, it is not simply end to end user based but rather well known institutions, enterprises, firms, and what have you are coming in and based on delicate informations such companies handles, token confidentiality becomes relevant.
