Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

But even though I don't possess any magic, I would like all those magical stories to be true, therefore, I have dedicated myself to discover if something similar to what we are told through stories exists in our world, but my findings have not been so impressive as to be able to create a house out of nothing, however, I discovered that a person's purpose is comparable to magic, you can also call it faith or manifestation, it's all in believing it to achieve it.

I was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Abalaku, from the Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Nigeria. I started my early education at LGEA Primary School Akwanga South, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, after which I proceeded to secondary school at Government Science Andaha, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, and then proceeded to higher education at Nasarawa State University Keffi, where I obtained a BSc (Hon) in computer science. I later went to the Federal University of Agriculture Markudi, Benue State, for my postgraduate diploma in computer science. Therefore, I was born into the family of 10, and I happened to be the second born out of ten (10) children. Unfortunately, our firstborn died, and then I became the first child, which meant I was shouldered with a lot of challenges and responsibilities of life. And I can proudly say that God is faithful, and I thank him for the talent I have, which I was able to showcase in diverse ways. I am married to my dearest and beautiful wife,

I enjoy my days going outdoors and visiting various places, both new and familiar, on the island to have new experiences, although other days I enjoy the tranquility of my home reading a book, watching television, or playing video games.

If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a very passionate person, as I like to live life to the fullest and devote myself to what I enjoy doing, although at times it can be chaotic; however, I believe this is partly influenced by my youth. Other times I am quite calm, when I just want to relax and be surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere while listening to music, concentrating, cooking for myself and my pet, or just wanting to be calm.

I live for music. There is nothing I like more than listening to sounds and melodies. From a very young age, music was playing in my house thanks to my parents. So, nowadays I could say that headphones are part of the accessories of my daily clothing. Because no matter the day, the weather, where I go or what I am doing, I will always have them with me. I will wear them, no matter the occasion, because they will always, but seriously, always be necessary.

When I was seven or maybe eight and could finally tell people what I wanted to be, I often replied with silence because I never wanted to be anything. I didn’t want to do anything, except I always knew I was meant for great things. Now that I’m older, I’m starting to question those great things because I’m still stuck at 20. While others have got life figured out, I’m here writing my thoughts because it’s the only thing I can do at the moment.

My life is intertwined with the grace of God, I didn’t just fall from the sky he formed me and I am uniquely made and shaped by God’s mercy. Just like my opening and as the scripture says in Psalm 45:1 KJV “My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is The pen of a ready writer.”

While some cried because they were sent to work in the countryside, I was happy, because I have always loved nature. I am sincere, simple. I am willing to learn and unlearn.

My grade school journey was a topsy-turvy experience, I've been a high-achieving student when I was on elementary. Been 7th in the class, 5th even 3rd and graduated in elementary achieving with honors. It was a great experience during elementary days, having lots of friends, not thinking about my problems, roaming around the campus playing like there is no tommorow and the best time to play was when it's raining, jumping in the puddles, doing tumblings that'll end up being scolded by the teacher but it's still fun doing the same thing again and again.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
