Brotherhood (James Rustic)
Periodically, I wonder how the two of us became friends,
When all we ever do is fight and try to make amends.
If this is normal, I must have grown up in a strange place;
Seems like I’ve never before had to push a friend out of my face.
I wonder: is this all you really see our friendship to be?
God, what you must think then when gawking at me!
My other friends have never acted this way before,
And have never once spilled my blood upon the floor.
Kudos though, my friend, for making me appear to be the villain!
And, will you ever return my other friendships you have stolen?
Perhaps it is my fault and I’ve had this trouble before;
Perhaps, but we both know this is the beginning of a trend,
And this is one fight that I must see through to the end!
