Our Three Saviors (James Rustic)
What once held the promise of becoming a glorious society
Has fallen to the lowest possible depths of depravity;
Originally founded on the basis of strong morals and ethics,
Only to fall victim to our self-inflicted societal epidemics.
No longer do we look at every man as our brother,
Nor are we concerned with the welfare of another,
For our selfish ways are slowly eroding our nation
And the reasons we live within a decaying civilization.
Perhaps there is a way though, to save this decadent humanity,
Three principles upon which to construct a new foundation:
Liberté, Égalité, et Fratérnité!
Principles that may mercifully save our country from its perilous health
That we have inflicted upon it with our unending desire for wealth,
And may be the last chance to save us from eternal damnation!
