New week, new post for beersaturday. It was finally time for something lighter. Nyama Drama Pale Ale is here.
Nyama Drama… A Pale Ale… Literally means No Drama, which is a phrase used by younger people here in Bulgaria. And this elongated dachshund looks evenly drama-less and caring about nothing at all.
Sofia electric brewery may not be from the pioneers on the Craft beer scene here, but they definitely know their stuff. I decided to grab this Pale Ale from the refrigerator, because I felt that it was gonna fit perfectly the extreme heat outside… Of course, I am consuming at home, but the Pale Ale goes along with 40 degrees centigrade.
In the glass it looks good and promising. I think that the haze is a bit too much for a pale ale, maybe looks like a NEPA, but I am not disappointed here. Looks juicy and ready for me. Can I enjoy it now? Or maybe take a couple more photos…
The head was perfect… fine and long lasting (seemingly) and while I was taking these photos I felt the good amount of fresh hops. Feeling light and refreshing, everything one could possibly want from a beer in the heat of the summer. But let’s dive in… the tasting part.
The beer definitely feels juicy in the mouth too. An to be honest, if no one told me that this was a Pale Ale, I would guess that it was a NEPA or NEIPA. I am sure the guys from Sofia Electric poured a good amount of hops in their Pale Ale. This was definitely one of the beers that promised a pretty fast drinking roght from the first sip. Juicy, yet light and easy drinking.
I still don’t know the idea with the dachshund, but it surely doesn’t look dramatic. You also think so? And just like I was guessing, the beer was over pretty quickly. This is one of the beers that you want again and again. I was ready for another one, but sadly it was only this one sitting in my refrigerator.
After the refreshing “pit stop” I was ready to continue rest of the day and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. There arent many weekends like this one, but I have to say I enjoyed it a lot.
It was nice to see you again, on the lands of #beersaturday and hope to see you again next week. Wish you an easy going new week and fast passing towards the next weekend 😁
Cheers and bye!
