Sedum rupestre „Blue Spruce“
I am a gardener but I will not pretend to know anything about succulents, that is in charge of my wife. I am actually a big fan of roses.Even though this plant is right in front of my nose, right next to the fountain, I didn't pay much attention to it. I even took a picture of the carnations that are right next to it.
Until my wife told me it was a succulent and what it was called.
I actually took a few pictures of it while it was in bloom.
I hope you understand :)
I am in charge of the large garden, orchard, yard, mowing the lawn.... My wife prefers the front garden and landscaping and flower arranging. Although we do most things together.
My wife told me that there were several other types of succulents planted in our front garden. I didn't want to play a guessing game with her. I'll have a chance to find out for myself. What I definitely noticed is that she planted Sedum rupestre 'Blue Spruce' in a few more spots in the front garden.
What I learned Sedum rupestre is an extremely hardy, perennial succulent plant from the Crassulaceae family, originating from Europe. This plant is known as "indestructible" and is perfect for beginners because it requires minimal care. Extremely easy propagation: All you have to do is break off a piece of stem (cutting) a few centimeters long, stick it directly into moist soil or sand and it will take root in a couple of days. Even leaves that fall to the ground on their own often grow roots.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
