Finally Rain - July Report 3

On Saturday, July 26, temperatures of 43-44 degrees Celsius were recorded in the South of the country, while in the North it was slightly colder at 37-38 degrees.
But a cold front arrived and with it rain, which refreshed everything.
On Sunday it was noticeably colder, and today it was only 26-27 degrees.
A real refreshment for all of us, especially for plants.
Because some leaves on some plants started to burn (dry) from the sun and the temperature.
And they're announcing a whole week below 30 degrees.

And during that time, along with regular watering, the hibiscus also bloomed.

After the rain, the zucchini came to life.
Some of the leaves started to turn yellow, but now they are green and it is blooming again.

I wrote in one report that the raspberry had dried up.
But it survived and bloomed and formed small raspberries.
There was a lot of watering.
And I applied the method as well as on several plants around the raspberries themselves I left a larger turf of grass and I watered everything.
The grass helped to preserve the raspberries.
And you will see the severity of the drought in the surrounding mowed grass.

Across the road, a fully ripe blackberry has succumbed to drought.
Regular watering I even placed a spotlight near it so I could water it in the evening, but lots of ripe blackberries
and not all the branches survived.
I am happy with the blackberry harvest and there is more.

Although I'm fighting stink bugs. The tomatoes are starting to turn red.

The fig tree is doing well, it has a lot of fruit.
It has also sent out young shoots around the tree.
I left a few, so I will take them out and plant them in the fall.

While I was at the fruit trees, snow fell in my orchard
Of course I'm kidding, the orchard turned white with dandelions

t's been raining a lot, it's still muddy in the garden.
I need to prepare the soil for planting watermelons, cantaloupes and pumpkins.
I'll wait for it to dry out a bit.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
