Butterflies
As I promised 2-3 weeks ago, I managed to photograph a few more butterflies. As I said, I don't know much about butterflies, so if anyone has a volunteer to identify them, I'd be interested.
I'm assuming this is a white cabbage patch, although it's still early for the cabbage harvest.
In previous posts I said that I leave the part of the yard where chamomile and other herbs grow uncut. It's good for all the pollinators and for my garden, which is already here.
Even though I grew up in the countryside when I was younger, I didn't understand it. How can such small animals like insects have such a big impact? Over time, I learned that everything is actually connected in a continuous cycle of biodiversity and that one thing affects the other.
As I grew up and took over the job from my parents, after they moved away. Then I got married and had a child, and my wife had similar ideas to me. Why would we mow the grass every 3-4 days Just to make the lawn look nice. Besides, it's a bit too much useless work. Of course, we mow the grass where we pass by the path, to the soup, to the garage. But where we don't have to, we let the plants bloom. Which also attracts a lot of insects.
Although my wife was a little wary of wasps and bees because she has a painful reaction. She is not allergic but she swells up. I convinced her that it depends on her. Mostly. Not to panic, she waves her arms and shows aggression.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
