So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “YOUR FACE ALONE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “EASE COMES AT A COST”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us their thoughts on our continuous dependence on AI and the effects it was having on our creativity and our drive for efficiency. The more that AI can do for us, the less that we actually want to do these things for ourselves.

We got to see that our dependence on AI, while making certain things more efficient and easier, also comes at a great cost. Because it shows that a time just might come when we might not be able to do anything without first resorting to AI. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.

“Everyone has a right to take pictures and make videos in public places. So, it's likely that at one point or the other, you might appear in a random stranger's picture or video without even knowing it. This is a recording of you, taken without your permission. Should there be a law making such a thing criminal? How would you feel if you suddenly found yourself in someone's video and you don't even know when or how it was made, but it was made in a public place. But then, what effects will such a rule have on creators who need the originality that comes with taking pictures or filming in public places?”
