I had a "Startling" phone call just now.
I was lying down, as I've not felt real spiffy today, and my phone rang.
Number began with 470, which is almost always a spoofed/spam number.
I'm afraid I began with my suspicious/irritated tone of voice.
Luckily, it didn't get away from me.
"May I speak with Mr. Jerry?"
This is Jerry.
"I hear you BROKE INTO ARBOR TERRACE last week and played piano for some of our Residents!"
That freaked me right out.
"I'm Divya, the assistant Activities Director for Arbor Terrace of Decatur.
Seankia (the AD) says you used to play for us frequently, and we now try to book a solid entertainer for Happy Hour on the first Monday of every month.
Would you be interested in setting this up?"
Of course I said yes, but that it might be best to wait until after this Tuesday when I perform. I explained that:
"because of the Covid Shutdown (Thank you Fake Fauci [sarcastic font missing]) I am really rusty and just getting my chops back in order"

She agreed, but I suspect this is going to be a new door opening.
3:30 pm, means leaving here by 1:30. getting there no later than 2:30 to unload, set up, cool off etc, perform from 3:30-4:30, then pack down, load up and skedaddle back home.
Doing this on a Monday or Tuesday beats a FRIDAY hands down (traffic wise)
