"Acquittal"
We build walls to keep out the world,
Thinking we’ll be safe and warm.
Hardened hearts with fear become knurled,
Hiding inside from harm.
When all outside the window is blue,
You’ll always find floating;
Light of hope, shining and true,
To help us bid fear adieu
Being IN the world, not OF it,
Seems a contradictory task;
With loving heart our lives acquit,
Peace of mind is all we ask.
