Many times, the muse deserts me,
The darkness within wins the day.
The birds of inspiration have flown the coop it seems.
Yet I know that this too shall not stay.

If I cannot find peace in this World,
I will search for it in a thousand more,
Through ten thousand Lifetimes if need be,
Somewhere on some distant shore.

Until we are again joined in peace,
When the turmoil inside me shall end,
My journey shall not cease,
Always seeking out more friends.

Joining hands, joining hearts,
Linking minds in peace is how it starts.
