Smash Burger Tacos
These Smash Burger Tacos are a delicious and innovative twist on traditional tacos, perfect for any food lover who craves a quick and easy meal with a gourmet touch. Ingredients
For the Tacos:

๐ง 6 slices American cheese

Finely chopped onions (for topping)

๐ฅฌ Shredded lettuce (for topping)
For the Sauce:
๐ฅ 1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup
๐ฏ 2 tablespoons mustard
๐ฅ 1 heaping tablespoon sweet relish
๐ฅ 1/4 cup pickle juice
Instructions
1- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, and pickle juice.
- Mix until well combined and set aside.
2- Portion the Beef:
- Divide the ground beef into small, golf ball-sized portions.
- This helps ensure even cooking and perfect patty size for the tortillas.
3- Cook the Smash Burger Tacos:
- Preheat a nonstick skillet on high heat.
- Place a beef ball in the center of the skillet, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
- Place a tortilla on top of the beef ball. Using another pan or a burger press, smash the beef down firmly onto the tortilla, ensuring it's flattened thin.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the bottom is crisp.
- Using a spatula, carefully flip the tortilla and burger over.
- Place a slice of American cheese on top of the patty. Allow the cheese to melt completely.
- Remove the taco from the skillet once the cheese melts, and repeat the process for the remaining beef portions.
4- Assemble and Serve:
- Top each taco with your favorite toppings: chopped onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, and the prepared sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
