For The Love Of Books

It is a fresh month, and once again I am finding new books to read. My TBR list is in the double digits, which means I'm perfectly set up to achieve my goal of reading 30 books in 2026. You can find my TBR Here I also have a further 9 books on my currently reading list. It is safe to say I have plenty to get through, and I don't have to worry about finding my next read, as I now have a list to go through. The list features a wide range of Genres from horror to memoirs, biographies to non-fiction. With my Kindle, I can read on the go and change books when I need a fresh genre.
The big books on my list for me to get through first begin with The Hunger Games series. I am currently beginning Mockingjay after reading the first 2 novels and the first 2 films. Secondly, I have prioritised Cujo, a Stephen King novel, as that is the pick of this month's read in one of the online book clubs I participate in. Lastly, I am prioritising Golf Monster by Alice Cooper as he has a new book coming out in a few months time and reading this will gauge whether I want to attend his live book tour show for his upcoming release.
With 18 books on my TBR and 9 in my currently reading, I have no excuse to not hit my goal for the year. With 13/30, I'm slightly under my goal, but with a perfect month, that can easily be fixed. I also think that towards the end of the year, with winter, my reading will naturally increase too, with more time spent inside.
I track my book progress on Fable and Goodreads. I use both because I have pros/cons to both apps, and I find using two gets the best out of both worlds. So if you use any of the platforms listed, feel free to give me a follow. If not, I will be sharing monthly reading updates here on Hive regardless.
With that, I wrap up today's post. Thanks for reading.
