Quick Samgyeopsal Treat with My Nephew

Sometimes, it feels good to treat your loved ones, especially when they achieve something. I usually do this to my family as my way of appreciating their hard work and life achievements. I have a nephew that I have been taking care of for years already, and I love him as my own.

One thing that I am proud of about him is how he manages to be a top student in school while enjoying his hobbies in sports and being an officer in two of his school's organizations. He is a public information officer (PIO) and vice president of two organizations. He has been attending seminars and training even as a young kid, but I still admire him for being an academic achiever. According to his homeroom adviser, he is a good pupil and a quick learner. They also see him as a smart kid.

Because of that, I decided to treat him in a Korean restaurant. He loves samgyeopsal just like me and enjoys it whenever we start grilling. We only drove to the nearest restaurant since it would be our dinner.

When we got to the restaurant, I did not capture much of the surroundings like I usually do in my previous blogs because this was only a quick dinner out.

Aside from the unlimited samgyeopsal promo I availed for us, I also got some other side dishes. I got us some Beef Kimbap while my nephew requested some fruit drinks. Since it was all for him, I said yes and could see how he enjoyed everything on his plate.

He also loved the side dishes, like Kimchi and the cheese. I knew that he was enjoying our dinner out when I glanced at his bowl of rice, which was almost empty.

I am so happy to see him happy and enjoying the moment. It was not just the two of us since we also had my partner with us, but he did not want to be in the pictures when I was capturing the moment. He was too busy grilling and eating.

This kind of treat only happens occasionally, but I am glad we did it. I also told my nephew to keep being an achiever so I could treat him somewhere better.
