Quick Catching Up with Friends

Being adult is like having a lot of responsibilities, from going to work to paying of bills. And it has been frustrating sometimes. So, everyone must understand when we plan to have some fun and chill for a moment.

My friends and I are already working an 8-hour job so we find it hard to set a night out. But luckily, there was enough free time for us other night. We finally got to have a quick catching up.

They visited me around 7:00 in the evening, and we decided to have some drink. We just went to the nearest grocery store here in our house and bought some drinks and foods we will eat for the night.

After buying, we just went straight home and I prepared everything we needed - from glasses, ice, and even cooked the foods. Then, they helped in preparing the table and chairs. We chose a spot in our place that is peaceful and quiet because we really wanted to enjoy the night sharing life stories. Even though it was kind of dark in our spot, we still continued our chill moment.

We just talked about what happened to our lives recently. One of my friends is working as a nurse in a private hospital, and he just reminded us of taking care of our health. He started talking about the patients he handled, while I talked about the issues and problems I conquered from my previous job.

It was an incredible night for all of us, knowing that it took us weeks before we finally find time to see each other. The rest of the night was just all about random life stories and shared laughter.
