I bring you all greetings on this beautiful day and I hope you are doing great, it is my pleasure to share with you today the making of this stylish fabric hand purse with the handle at the top for my friend and I'm sure you will like the beautiful outcome

Recently, I made a purse with fabric which has two pockets for safe keeping of phone and cash, it was a beautiful outcome, when my friend saw the purse I made, she likes it and insisted that I make same for her, she asked that she needed hers to have a simple handle to make it easy to hold, which I thought was a great idea.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process below.

From the fabric I intend to use, I measured and cut out 16 x 16 inches with lining

I placed the linning and main fabric together and I made a curve at the top on opposite sides, it was sewn round, turned inside out and top stitched round for neat finishing

I folded it in two to locate the middle in a triangular shape after that I folded the tip to the middle

It was folded up again at the middle to make another pocket

From the left, i folded in the tip to the right side

From the right side, I folded the tip to the left on the other folded part

The tip of the right side was folded back to the middle and opened up, then it was taken to the sewing machine where I sew on the bottom on a straight line from one end to the other

I used my hand needle and thread to fix a press button on the side of the flip cover and the other side of the little tip

The press button was use to secure the items in it

For the handle, I cut out a bias tape, folded it in two and it was sewn together

The rope was folded in two and sewn to the back of the purse at the top

This is the final and beautiful outcome of the fabric hand purse I made for my friend with handle at the top.
