Good day to you all in this great community, it is another creative day and I hope you are all doing great, I wish you all the best of the day as you engage in your daily endeavors. Today, I will be sharing with you a creative way of making a stylish and simple pot holder from scrap fabric.

Sometimes ago, I made a pot holder for myself which was useful in my kitchen to hold and carry hot pot from fire when and after cooking, this is a very important item to have in the kitchen instead of buying from the store, I decided to make another creative one for myself after the one I made was old

Two different fabrics were used to create a patch work for my pot holder, watch the magic below

I cut out 2 pieces each of 7 x 7 inches of fabric from 2 different fabrics

I interchanged both fabric placing two different fabrics together and it was sewn on both sides

I folded it in two and cut it out at the middle

The center line was opened and neatly ironed, I placed both pieces that was cut out together interchangeable

It was sewn together on both sides as well and it was folded in two again

It was cut at the middle and I have this square shape patch work looking so beautiful

I interchanged both fabric to have a stylish design as seen below

I cut out a warden of same shape and ironed it on the main fabric on the wrong side

For the handle, I measured and cut out 4 x 6 inches of fabric, it was folded and sewn together on both sides

The other piece was placed on the piece with warden and I placed the handle in it, it was taken to my sewing machine to be sewn round, leaving an opening where it can be turned to the right side

It was turned to the right side through the opening and I used my hand needle and thread to sew an invisible stitch on it for neat finishing and this is the final outcome

The same process was repeated on the other pieces and finally I have two pot holders for myself.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome of my pot holder, you can as well make one for yourself from those left over pieces of fabric instead of buying the expensive ones from the store.
