The Goth Shop, Mall and the Claw Machine
The fam went to Bohol recently for business. When they got back, they brought lots of souvenirs and local desserts. The Aunt couldn't carry it all by herself, so we decided to bring it to her workplace, then her husband can load them all on their tricycle. And of course, we tagged along since it was very hot at home. This summer isn't bearable anymore.
Before we go to her workplace, we went first at the Mall since the mother has some business in the bank. The kids waited outside for her, but we got bored shortly after. Well, we're here in the mall anyway, there's a lot of things to do. You just have to pick your poison.
There we go, to the Claw Machine. We exchanged some coins to play. After a few turns and different machines, we just got scammed. We haven't won anything. It's a typical business strategy wherein you could have hope it clawed the prize but when you move it, the claw loosen. A few tries, but we're still not having it, not a single one.
It's fun to play, but a little sad that we haven't won anything at the same time. We're adults, we moved on faster.
The next location was going to the Aunt's workplace to bring her things. After that, the sister has a place where she wanted to check.
This is Altana, the Goth's haven.
It's a shop for all Gothic outfits, accessories, merchandise, perfumes, and just anything related to gothic lifestyles.
The sissy is an outright Goth. She's brave enough to dress like this in public everytime and even on social media. Actually, it's kinda cool that she has this preferences. The public could throw a scornful look at her sometimes, but on our end, we're very supportive.
Before, she's getting her clothes from thrift stores and online, but now, there's already a place where she can go to shop at once for whatever she needs for that style.
If you ever wonder what is that thing in the jar, well that is a real bat which is being preserved. Everytime I see a bat, I often remember Ozzy Osbourne eating the bat in one of his concerts. That was freaking iconic!
I was a lowkey gothic lifestyle fan, too. When I highschool, I still could not afford these things but now that I have work, I've been more practical in choosing my things. There's still a lot of black colors in my things, but there's still some bright colors in it as well.
If ever I got the chance to dress like this before qithout any judgements from my side of the fam, I'm sure I would like to flaunt that to the public. But now, my time for this has passed, gotta have aomething more useful and clothes that practical than being stylish. Another thing for sure, I'm slowly becoming a full pledge Auntie now, even on my behaviors.
Anyway, thank you so much for reading this blog. Have a great day!
