Morning Walks and Breakfast

For this week's entry for #wednesdaywalk initiated by Sir Hive account@tattoodjay, we had a great walking exercise at the abandoned runway.

This becomes our usual routine whenever we can have time. At this morning, the weather isn't that hot so we decided to have this walk and have breakfast at the edge of the runway where the eateries are located.

The sun is already up, so we walked briskly. We have to hurry and make it to the end of the runway because if we walked back home later than 8am, the heat is already burning.

As usual, we could see people jogging and those who are practicing how to drive a motorcycle or a car. This is a good place for them since it's spacious and not that crowded. The place is also free to the public which means that people can stay for as long as they want.

The other eatery on the other was already full when we arrive. We went to other one instead because we're already starving from the walk and we haven't eaten our breakfast yet.

They serve native and instant coffee, local desserts and few dishes for breakfast.

At lunch, they also serve seafood and other dishes. I think they're also open until dinner since this place is like a restobar already.

In all honesty, the walk is often the disguise but the real intention of going here is the food. We live for it. And, it's one great motivation to do some small exercise from our sedentary life.

After that long walk, we fueled ourselves with Pansit, hard boiled eggs and a cup of native brewed coffee.

It's our first time eating here in this place. Previously, we're often on the other since the view of the sea is much closer. On this side, it's more on lush green mangroove plantation.

After we ate, we rested for few minutes before walking back to add more steps in our exercise. Along the way, we say hello to this lovely calf lying on the grass. It looks surprised when it saw us but flaunt its lovely neck anyway.
