An Unforgettable Day (1)
The audible and intelligible voice of Sayamagyi Daw Naw Jue Phaw is attracting our whole heart. Good pronunciation, rhyme and rhythm is flowing in the silent hall. She's making a speech at the closing ceremony of MICELT course-Myanmar -India Certificate of English Language Teaching, Yangon. In our training course, 57 newly appointed tutors had learnt Developing English Language Skills, Teaching Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Pronunciation and Vocabulary Skills, Using songs and skits in Teaching English and Practicum Skills for hours.
Meanwhile, we have completed 10 week course. We all are going back to our respective universities. The departure time to our teachers - Dr.Sonba M.Slave, Mr.Cherry Mathew Philipose, Daw Aye Moe Moe and Daw Aye Aye Mu will arrive very soon. This thought grips everyone's heart strictly.
During this training course, all teachers taught us with their full enthusiasm throughout the course. The really wants us to be good teachers. Due to them, we have had much knowledge concerned with ''What good teachers are, Good teachers skills and qualities, How to improve ourselves, teaching techniques and how to manage the classroom effectively ".We all feel delighted that we have got much self- confidence. And we all promise our teachers to apply this knowledge obtained from this course at our respective universities.
