Lo primero que hice fué extender la tela doblada en una superficie plana para luego colocar el patrón de papel y cortar las dos piezas, está vez no dejé margen de costura por qué la tela es stretch, después de tener cortadas las dos piezas comencé a coser los tiros que son la unión delantera y trasera del short, cosí con costura recta y luego zigzag, proseguí con unir la entrepierna y coser la orilla de casa pierna con el efecto fruncido que lo hago colocando la punta en ojal y pasar costura por todo el borde estirando la tela.

The first thing I did was lay the folded fabric flat on a work surface, then place the paper pattern on top and cut out the two pieces. This time, I didn’t leave a seam allowance because the fabric is stretchy. After cutting out the two pieces, I began sewing the seams that join the front and back of the shorts. I sewed with a straight stitch and then a zigzag stitch. I continued by joining the crotch and sewing the hem of each leg with a gathered effect, which I achieved by placing the tip in a buttonhole and sewing along the entire edge while stretching the fabric.

Después de coser el fruncido de las piernas corte la elástica y cosí para cerrar, luego la sujeté al contorno del short y cosí con costura en zigzag, para terminar la pretina doble la elástica hacia adentro y cosí una vez más, por último cosí un pequeño lazo de cinta en la parte delantera para que sea más fácil diferenciar y no usarlo al revés cuando se lo vayan a poner. After sewing the gathers on the legs, I cut the elastic and sewed it closed, then attached it to the edge of the shorts and sewed it down with a zigzag stitch. To finish the waistband, I folded the elastic inward and sewed it once more.
