Creo que todavía no hay palabras con las que pueda describir como me siento, pero en mi corazón y mi alma hay un profundo dolor que con los días he intentado sanar aunque la herida está todavía abierta. El 24 de junio de 2026 a las 6:04 pm la tierra tembló, tembló con una fuerza destructiva afectando gravemente a varios estados del centro del país. En Cumaná sentí el temblor y con mucho miedo salí corriendo de mi casa junto a mi familia, pensé que solo había sido un sismo leve pero mi mayor sorpresa fué entrar en las redes sociales y enterarme que había sido un doble terremoto de magnitud 7,2 y 7,5 y que muchos edificios en estos estados se habían derrumbado, desde entonces las noticias que llegan me inundan el alma de un profundo dolor, ver la cantidad de vidas perdidas, la destrucción y lo difícil que será recuperar todo lo perdido, pero los Venezolanos han demostrado ser un pueblo fuerte ante la adversidad. Después de una semana las labores de rescate siguen y las ayudas a los damnificados deben continuar, hay un dolor profundo pero estoy segura que nos volveremos a levantar. Mis más profundas condolencias a todas las personas que perdieron a sus seres queridos y mucha fuerza a los que siguen luchando para sobrevivir dentro y fuerza de los escombros. 🙏💔🇻🇪

I don’t think there are words yet to describe how I feel, but in my heart and soul there is a deep pain that I’ve been trying to heal day by day, even though the wound is still open. On June 24, 2026, at 6:04 p.m., the earth shook—it shook with a destructive force that severely affected several states in the central part of the country. In Cumaná, I felt the tremor and, terrified, ran out of my house with my family. I thought it had only been a mild earthquake, but to my great surprise, when I checked social media, I learned that it had been a double earthquake measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, and that many buildings in those states had collapsed. Since then, the news that keeps coming in has filled my heart with deep sorrow—seeing the number of lives lost, the destruction, and how difficult it will be to recover everything that was lost. But Venezuelans have proven themselves to be a resilient people in the face of adversity. A week later, rescue efforts are still underway, and aid to those affected must continue. There is deep pain, but I am certain we will rise again. My deepest condolences to all those who have lost loved ones, and much strength to those who continue to fight to survive amid the rubble. 🙏💔🇻🇪
