05 Rebirth Compostitions

Hi Steemit community and followers!
I am once again back with artworks (photos of them actually).

These are series of works I produced back in 2015. These are 100% ceramic sculptures (made of clay, glazes and colour stains) based on my pain of being and adapting to a new environment. I have been traveling all my life, growing up I have never lived in a same house more than three years. I moved schools alot as my parents relocated to different cities and even flying off to forign countries. Which people around me think as a blessing (as I have experienced different cultures and people.)

I find the entire process devastating for an extra introvert like me. So I tend to create new me or atleast try to act like one. In order to fit in to the new enviroment. Which is ofcourse painful and takes its time and patience. Its one of those pieces that I dont quiet show to people around me. One thing that yes, because it has that gore, brutality and sentiment that I am often hesitant to explain to strangers. I wonder how Freida Carlo explained her work sometimes. Since I find its difficult to state“Its about my pain about change” when usually people around me thinks I am all happy and laid back. Definitely even more difficult to show rhis to my proud family and parents friends (oh imagine showing these at Christmas family gathering...)
