"Nectar"

A plant bearing red flowers
twines around the trees of the forest.
The blossoms are heavy with dew?
dew as sweet as nectar.

As I sipped the sweet floral nectar,
insects gathered around.
I yielded the flower to them
and moved on to another;
after all, there is no shortage here
of flowers that offer up their nectar.

赤い花を咲かせた植物が
森の木々に絡みつく
花には露がたくさんついている
それは甘露のように甘い

私は甘い花の露を吸っていると
虫たちが寄ってきた
この花は虫に譲って
私はほかの花へ移った
ここには甘露を出す花なら
いくらでもあるからね
