🥇 Traditional Plaza Zaguan in Maracaibo. | Plaza Zaguan tradicional en Maracaibo. by noelyss@noelyss

I was amazed by the beauty of this lovely square; it is quite picturesque, as are each of the old, colonial-style houses lining this prestigious street. We can see how the murals take centre stage on one corner, where we can spot the famous bagpiper. Danilo Badell composed some magnificent and beautiful gaita tunes, remembered by everyone, which refer to this square; he had the pleasure and honour of composing a gaita with these lyrics. We can also see a large mural paying tribute to the great Ricardo Aguirre ‘El Monumental’, who passed away in 1969.

🥈 Photo Trip | Croatia - Waterfalls in Krka National Park by rsphotos@rsphotos

Part of the walk takes place on wooden boardwalks among the trees. The water is clear, and in some places you can clearly see the fish swimming there. On a hot day, a walk in these conditions is pleasant. It’s worth noting that the trail is one-way, which is a nice solution when there are a lot of visitors.

🥉 Credit where credit is due: discovering Cumaná's first amphitheater [ENG-ESP] by hylene74@hylene74

The murals honoring the late singer-songwriter depict his portrait amidst significant heritage sites, as well as local flora, fauna, and traditional activities of the Sucre region, such as fishing. Located on Cacique Maragüey Avenue, this venue offers diverse spaces for recreation and leisure, making it ideal for families, tourists, and the general public. Spanning approximately 10,000 square meters with a capacity of 1,500 people, the site features green areas, parking (including accessible spaces), restrooms, dressing rooms, security services, and excellent lighting.
