The Compass Within: Momentum, Silence, and Faith

Never rely on inspiration or motivation. They’re transient emotional states, useful sparks, but not building blocks. Only habits endure. Keep yourself in motion. Listen to your inner voice, your gut, as some call it, for it is the embedded compass God placed within you.

I paused today to consider how much time I’ve lost resisting that inner voice, deferring instead to the “analytical” mind: a mind full of doubt, hesitation, and worry, always demanding more knowledge but never declaring itself ready.

Life opens beautifully when we lower our defenses and say, “I will trust God,” then act on what, deep down, we already know we’re meant to do.

Delay costs more than we can afford. The longer you resist, the more of your life drains away.

And one more observation: silence is golden. You’ve heard that before. But have you ever heard someone claim, “Silence makes everything golden”?

I ran an experiment: thirty days of intentional silence, risking being perceived as a fool. The result surprised me. People began treating me as if I carried authority (not something I sought, just a pattern I noticed). And whatever I set out to achieve came easily. My passive income even increased tenfold.

Then I made a beginner’s mistake: I revealed my joy. The moment I shared my success aloud, things began to unravel. My earnings still haven’t returned to that level.

There may be some truth to the saying that the adversary can’t hear us unless we speak. What I know for sure is this: once I voiced my joy, the tide shifted.

Lesson learned. Life moves on.
