I never want to live like a thorn in my father's breath
To remain a firm mountain on your chest
To prick eyes like a thorn
To show up like the sad colors of autumn in unspoken pain
But what can I do, Mother?
It's beyond my control
Not to let this happen.
Sometimes, Standing against the crumbling walls of this earth,
I wonder if I should give up without fighting my battles
I should not question the guarding of my desires and my dreams
Mother! I want to know from you
Beyond this courtyard
That vast world exists parallel to life
Don't I have the right to see it?
Tell me, Mother,
Why am I still climbing the threshold of this house
Such a strong chain
Shaking it my arms swing like a broken branch
My courage is waning
Mother, I don't want to spread like a creeper
On the discolored walls of a dilapidated mansion
Like you, I want to become a full-fledged tree
A tree with a willful existence
You see how
All the trees planted by our ancestors have become stumps today
How long will you water their dry roots
Will you continue to watch the trees you planted collapse?
