Fading
There's a deep darkness of sorrow in my heart,
And there's no hope for light
It's evening, and then there will be a deep night
I won't be there when the new dawn breaks
Now, to cross over,
I have to walk alone all night
Who knows what the atmosphere is like on the other side?
It's a sin to even look back
This is all I've learned from this place
I'm tired from a lifetime of travel,
I think, let's take a breath and then set off
What lines of fate, what grace of time?
Perhaps this is a trick of the mind to keep me here
I'm just a simple man
What good am I in this world?
I haven't won any battle,
Binding myself to the peg of ego
I've never been in the way of the system
Be it the bright rays of the morning sun,
Or the fading sunlight of a tired sun,
Whom do I love? I couldn't understand
This is the simple history of life
I am a human being, so I wonder why there is no shadow over my head
