Moringa oleifera (On Murong)

Moringa leaves, we call it with 'on murong'.

Moringa, (Moringa oleifera), also called horseradish tree or drumstick tree, small deciduous tree (family Moringaceae) native to tropical Asia but also naturalized in Africa and tropical America. The leaves, which can also be eaten raw when young, are especially nutritious and are high in iron, potassium, and vitamin C. [britannica.com]

At our place, the moringa plant is very easy to cultivate, grows wild in the bush. It has been a hereditary tradition in Acehnese, cooking Moringa leaves as a vegetable is believed to be good for health.
