Grapes, apricots, and pumpkins in the garden.

I realized I haven't mentioned some of the fruit trees in my garden this year. I'll also talk about the fast-growing pumpkins in the field towards the end of my post.

Bahçemde bulunan bazı meyve ağacından bu yıl bahsetmediğimi fark ettim. Ayrıca hızlıcı büyüyen tarladaki kabaklardan da bahsedeceğim yazımın sonlarında.

We have grapevines in four different areas of our garden. The oldest grapevine is around 20 years old. Two are 9-10 years old, and another is 5 years old. So far, we've gotten the best yield from the oldest grapevine. Even when it was young, it yielded very well. It was easy to care for and water. It received plenty of sunlight. We haven't gotten enough yield from the other grapevines yet.

Bahçemizde 4 farklı bölgede üzüm ağacı var. Üzümlerin en yaşlısı 20 yaş civarında. İki tanesi 9-10 bir diğeri 5 yaşında. Şimdiye kadar en güzel verimi en yaşlı üzümden aldık. Henüz gençken de verimi gayet iyidi. Bakımı ve sulaması rahatttı. Güneşi net şekilde görüyordu. Diğer üzümlerden henüz yeterince verim alamadık.

The grapes are growing slowly. After they grow a little more, they will begin to soften and then change color. The grapes are black. The grape harvest season begins after the middle of September. So, it takes another 35-40 days. The harvest season lasts about a month.

Üzümlerde taneler yavaş yavş büyüyor. Biraz daha büyüdükten sonra yumuşamaya ardından renk değiştirmeye başlayacak. Üzümler siyah taneli. Üzümlerde hasat dönemi eylül ayının ortasından sonra başlıyor. Yani daha 35-40 güne ihtiyaç var. Hasa dönemi yaklaşık bir ay sürüyor.

We have three apricot trees in our garden. The trees are 3-4 years old. Only one of them has borne fruit. This is the first year the tree has produced fruit. There are about 9-10 kg of apricots on the tree. It can be considered a good yield for its first year. We continue to pick the apricots as they ripen. The apricot branches are not strong. When the fruit ripens, there is a risk of the branches breaking. To prevent this, we support the branches with poles.

Bahçemizde 3 adet kayısı ağacı var. Ağaçlar 3-4 yıllık. Sadece bir tanesi meyve verdi. Meyve veren ağaç ilk kez bu yıl meyve verdi. Ağaçta 9-10 kg civarında kayısı var. İlk yılına göre iyi verim denilebilir. Kayısılar olgunlaştıkça koparmaya devam ediyoruz. Kayısı dalları kuvvetli değil. Meyveler olgunlaşınca dalların kırılma ihtimali ortaya çıkıyor. Bunun önüne geçmek için sırıklarla dalları destekliyoruz.

Zucchini is a fast-growing vegetable. A tiny zucchini can grow very quickly in a week. It needs sufficient watering. Because zucchini spread very widely, we plant them towards the edges of the garden. If planted in the middle of the garden, they can take over the entire field. We generally consume zucchini in the winter. That's all I have to say about my garden in this post.

Kabak hızlı büyüyen bir sebze. Küçüçük bir kabak bir hafta içinde çok hızlı büyüyebiliyor. Bunun için yeterince sulama gerekiyor. Kabaklarda yayılım çok fazla olduğu için bahçenin kenarlarına doğru ekiyoruz. Bahçenin ortasına ekilirse tüm tarlayı işgal edebilecek güce sahip. Kabakları genelde kış mevsiminde tüketiyoruz.
