Holding steady

Just a quick update on the state of our quest to create more minnows. For some time the numbers have been going down, but in the last couple of weeks that may have slowed. We actually gained a whale in that period, orcas have stayed the same and the lower ranks have not gone down too much.

We have been looking around for new people. Hive account@steevc checks for Brits who join up or come back. It seems a few have started posting after months or even years away.

We should try to make new people welcome so they want to stick around. Hive is complex and different to other platforms. You have to learn how things work and what is considered acceptable.

Some of these are well past the minnow threshold around 530HP and will be taken off the voting list. Others will stay on for a while. There are vacancies for more people we can support and suggestions are welcome.

Candidates for our support should:

• Have less than 500HP
• Be actively posting
• Not be powering down
