Day 30:) The End
What are we most afraid of? Give the brain a chance to think. Maybe you fear the most from your parents or spouse or spouse equivalent. Jokes apart, in the current situation we refrain from hand shake. We avoid physical touch with anyone. May be now you can guess easily at what I am hinting to.
You got it right, we are most fearful of the ‘Death’. Everyone of us wants to live more and stay young ;). On daily basis, more than one lac people take their last sleep. Aren’t we lucky to be alive in the morning? Is not that the first success of the day? We should be glad to have got the opportunity to live more. The next day you wake up, give a thump up to yourself for the success. You may think I am being crazy, I have been doing it since more than 15 days and it has turned my days better.
Recently, I heard of Bruce Mclaren, whose name lives on in the Mclaren team which has been one of the most successful in formula One championship history. *
Motorsport author Eoin Young said that Bruce McLaren had "virtually penned his own epitaph" in his 1964 book From the Cockpit. Referring to the death of teammate Timmy Mayer, McLaren had written: "The news that he had died instantly was a terrible shock to all of us, but who is to say that he had not seen more, done more and learned more in his few years than many people do in a lifetime? To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone." *
Another charismatic leader Steve Jobs has said famously quoted “if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do?” May be your priority might change. Keep questioning regularly before you go to bed, you will definitely have a response may not be today or tomorrow but after some time.
Similarly, we have fear of losing. I was playing Hearts with my family, everyone wants to win the game. Though, sometimes we must lose in short terms to win in long terms. Being fearless isn’t that easy, one needs a golden heart for that. Doing something unusual from what’s expected you need courage. It may sound easy in doing. But who ends up executing the are known as the successful person.
