did everyone just get over their webcam internet stage fright or what?

Nothing like a pandemic and isolation to get over the stuff you always disliked and worried that if you did it that you would be singled out. It seems that herd immunity does work (not for the ‘rona) but for being on webcam.

Remember all those clients that would never make content or would never been on camera, do a live stream, make videos in general. Well fuck me, look at them now! It’s like someone laced their drinks with lcd and they got naked, drank loads of alcohol and thought fuck it.

This is a good thing for me right now. I’ve got a brand new raft of students in April (literally a class room full) and i’ve been putting content together behind the scenes to take my course and pad it out to well over twenty four hours worth of content with some additional little courses on the side.

The way I see it is that we are gonna be in this headspace for the next few years so it’s about time we bedded down and got our streaming on, that means equipment upgrades, bandwidth upgrades, additional redundancy, easier software, light weight training, scheduling and interactive/stand out elements to make your remote business pop.

I kinda feel that collaboration using internet tools is finally breaking through and I could not be more happy about it. After all the biggest hurdle was getting them using this stuff. Now it’s here, they want it, they wanted it before but they needed everyone to want it like the sheep they are. Streaming herd mentality is finally here.

The other perfect unity and upside here too is that many people stateside are getting $1200 from the gov for absolutely nothing, for many people that’s more than they had earned in the previous three months anyway + they have had time to think WTF AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE.

If they are smart they will look around at their local community needs and say where can I help and fit in here. How can I assist and sustain myself, how can I give back and also earn in this new delivery mindset taking into account the corona and the notion in peoples minds from now on that we are actually living in scarcity.

Also, 26 million people signing on unemployment benefit. Unprecedented, volumes of people that are actively thinking what should I do with my life now, living out dreams and hobbies for the first time, stepping up to the plate and saying what do people need, what do I love to spend time doing.

I think we are on the edge of a massive upswell of realistic human inflation based on real, quantified needs rather than inflated balance sheets where someone with a fucking spreadsheet in the EU can add another zero.

Let’s not be ZEROS, let’s be heroes to the next man, woman and child that needs us to step up and be active humans, let’s not just be an apathetic species that gorges on the gift of life that we have been given.

You always have a choice to be better.
