. … into your hands rather than grab after it.
I really like that sentiment this morning in the daily stoic book, it’s still the month of passions and emotions and we just dropped outta warp speed and into the lands of the retrograde so you gotta be careful around these parts (mentally and universally)
I’ve had many moments like that in my life actually I can think about, I remember an old friend of mine ben came about from another friendship with a guy called sean who I used to always see out when clubbing/raving back in the day.
I remember getting invited around to his house, this massive big house and the house having this crazy energy, obviously done well for themselves family and hard working dad and well to do, a massive kitchen, stacked fridge and just past the living room — A MASSIVE OUTDOOR SWIMMING pool, I could barely believe it. I could tell you a few stories about that swimming pool too.
I’d love for you to follow me over on

and
— I’m restarting my podcast with dayle, writing blog posts on my main account and looking to build a streaming show on
that can be duplicated by other steemians.
But the most vivid memory that I have is the one of being given dessert wine for the first time — yes, actual wine that was miniature bottle size and was picked for it’s sweetness to go with the dessert. It felt so over the top at the time but that wine really did go with the food, it was not about being rich or better than anyone else it was about access to make an experience as the lady of the house smiled that she had curated the dinner perfectly.
It was hard finding that ben’s sister liked me and would eventually move in with me, ben made us tables and his farther a massive sturdy bed, I was sad to see that go but it was a terrific solid bed. I was always spoilt rotten by the family in hindsight. I should have/could have done more to pay that back in some ways, but hey, here we are, I learned many lessons from the journeys in my life and I can look back on them with fondness.
I think it’s a good reminder that we can either just peck away at the edges of something in life or we can wait until the server comes around the table again at it’s own speed. If you expect it, then it might never come, but if the universe is kind to you, your kind to it back, you just might have your karma rewarded with a bigger portion.
Peace and Good Meditations,
