My Actifit Report Card: April 19 2026

The last night on the road was a bit loud. A group of teenagers had gathered at the parking spot. Talking, laughing, cars arriving with music turned up too high. Nothing that really bothered me.

Until the end.

One last moment of emphasis.
A firecracker.

Loud enough
to cut through everything.

I’m not sure
what it was meant to say.

This morning I woke up tired. Not fully rested. I made coffee and walked once more through the monastery park. A quiet round before leaving.

Then I drove. Slowly. Almost reluctantly. For the last hundred kilometers I took several breaks, as if there was no need to arrive too quickly.

Around one in the afternoon I reached home.

A different kind of arrival.
Familiar.

Everyone was there. Even the cat stayed close, following me from room to room, as if making sure I wouldn’t leave again.

After lunch we went for a short walk to the lake.

Nothing special.
Just back again.
