Hello everyone in this community! I really liked the questions in the last contest, but unfortunately, I ran out of time and couldn't participate 🙃 Even so, I decided to answer the questions anyway to de-stress haha ​​😉

🔁💚 Exchange programs are quite popular among students worldwide, but when it comes to establishing a professional or family life, few people imagine living temporarily in another place with a different family. If you had the opportunity to have such an experience as an adult, where in the world would you like to live on exchange for a year, and what would you like to do during that time? How do you envision your host family and your surroundings? 🔁💚

The first time I saw anything related to exchange programs was through cartoons or TV series. They always had that cliché episode where the "exchange student" arrived, and from then on, adventures, misunderstandings, or situations would unfold, generally highlighting the foreigner's home country.

I always found it interesting, but I never considered the possibility of being one of those people because it never crossed my mind that it would be possible in my country, haha. However, hypothetically, if I could do it as an adult, I would definitely like to go to Japan, since I really wanted to visit that country when I was a child. It's not that I don't want to anymore, but since I've learned more about what life is like there, especially as a foreigner, I no longer see it as a "perfect" or magical place (I admit that my fascination with it started with anime 😅).

It would be interesting to be in the capital and visit all the iconic places of otaku culture, as well as shop, eat typical food, and buy items from vending machines, gachapon shops, and konbinis (convenience stores) known for their discounted or half-price items.

However, I also really love the idea of ​​staying in a rural area. I've read that even Japanese people are encouraged to stay in rural areas that have been largely abandoned due to the mass migration of their inhabitants to the big cities. Having the opportunity to be in a quiet and peaceful place, learn about the culture, and talk to the locals would be very pleasant.

A while ago, I saw some people on social media who were joining programs that allowed them to work as assistants in places like temples and other sites in Japan. Basically, they provide room and board and pay in exchange for helping with various tasks for several months. The woman who mentioned it highly recommended it, saying she had met some really nice people and had wonderful experiences helping the elderly or people in rural areas. I think that would be a great option too.

Honestly... I don't like celebrating my birthday, haha. I loved celebrating it when I was little, since my mom went to great lengths to throw us parties with our favorite characters, with all the trimmings: cake, piñata, party favors, decorated table, and even costumes 😊 But as an adult, birthdays lost their "magic," especially after my mom started living far away from us looking for work. At that point, I started spending my birthdays alone or with just a few small gestures.

Now that I'm living near my mom again, she goes out of her way to make us cakes to our liking, and I appreciate it... but for me, birthdays aren't a big deal. I think my trauma also stems from "age" issues, haha. I know it's silly, but society has normalized judging and categorizing people based on how old they are 😅

Another thing is that I've never had a birthday party with guests other than family. I'd love to have a birthday with friends (first I need to build a big group of friends for that, haha), where we could have a cosplay party, where guests come dressed as their favorite characters or with a favorite theme. I'd also absolutely love a surprise birthday party... I've always seen videos of people being surprised with a gathering of loved ones, cake, and gifts... I feel like something like that would show me how special I am to whoever organizes something like that for me. So, for now, I prefer to celebrate other people's birthdays 😇

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Las interrogantes propuestas en el concurso pasado me gustaron mucho, lamentablemente, se me pasó el tiempo y no pude participar 🙃 Aún así, decidí responder las preguntas de todos modos para desestresarme jaja 😉

🔁💚 Los programas de intercambio son bastante conocidos entre los estudiantes del mundo, pero al formalizar un estilo de vida profesional o familiar pocas personas se imaginan vivir temporalmente en otro lugar con una familia diferente, si tuvieras la oportunidad de vivir tal experiencia siendo un adulto, que lugar del mundo te gustaría vivir de intercambio por un año y que te gustaría hacer mientras tanto? como imaginas tu familia de acogida y tu entorno? 🔁💚

La primera vez que vi algo relacionado a los programas de intercambio, fue a través de caricaturas o series de televisión. En ellas, siempre existía el capítulo cliché en dónde llegaba el "estudiante de intercambio" y a partir de ahí, ocurrían aventuras, malentendidos o situaciones que por lo general, buscaban de hacer resaltar el lugar de origen del extranjero.

Siempre me pareció interesante, pero nunca pensé en la posibilidad de ser una de esas personas porque nunca se me pasó por la cabeza que sería posible en mi país jaja No obstante, en un caso hipotético, si pudiera hacerlo de adulto, sin duda me gustaría ir a Japón, siendo que sí deseaba muchísimo visitar ese país cuando era niña. No es que ya no desee hacerlo, pero siendo que me he informado más de cómo es la vida allí y más al ser extranjero, ya no lo veo como un lugar "perfecto" o mágico (admito que mi encanto nació a partir del anime 😅).

Sería interesante poder estar en la capital y visitar todos los lugares emblemáticos de la cultura otaku, así como poder comprar, comer comida típica, así como comprar artículos en máquinas expendedoras, en los gachapones y los konbinis o tiendas departamentales que son conocidas por algunos artículos en oferta o a mitad de precio.

Aunque, también me encanta mucho la idea de quedarme en un espacio rural, pues he leído que incluso a los mismos japoneses, se les invita a quedarse en espacios del campo que han sido básicamente abandonadas por la ida masiva de sus habitantes a las grandes ciudades. Tener la posibilidad de estar en un lugar tranquilo y apacible, así como conocer la cultura y hablar con los lugareños, sería muy agradable.

Hace un tiempo a través de las redes, unas personas que entraban a programas en dónde te permitían ir a lugares como templos u otros sitios de Japón, en calidad de ayudante; allí, básicamente te dan hospedaje y dinero, a cambio de que contribuyas en la realización de diversas tareas por varios meses. La chica que hablaba del tema, lo recomendaba arduamente, pues había conocido a gente muy agradable y tenido experiencias hermosas ayudando a ancianos o a personas del campo. Pienso que esa, también sería una muy buena opción.

🎈🎉 ¿Te gusta celebrar tu propio cumpleaños? ¿O eres de las que disfruta más celebrar el cumpleaños de los demás? Que te gustaría hacer para tu próximo cumpleaños? 🎈🎉

La verdad... No me gusta celebrar mi cumpleaños jaja Me encantaba celebrarlo de pequeña, ya que mi madre se esmeró en hacernos las fiestas con temática de nuestros personajes favoritos, con toda la parafernalia: pastel, piñata, cotillones, mesa decorada y hasta disfraz 😊 Pero ya de adulto, los cumpleaños fueron perdiendo la "magia", más luego cuando mi madre comenzó a vivir lejos de nosotros en busca de trabajo. En ese momento, empecé a pasar mis cumpleaños sola o con pequeños detalles.

Ahora que estoy viviendo cerca de mi madre de nuevo, ella se esmera en hacernos los pasteles a nuestro gusto y se lo agradezco... pero para mí, los cumpleaños no son la gran cosa. Creo que mi trauma también viene por cuestiones de la "edad" jaja sé que es una tontería, pero en la sociedad se ha normalizado juzgar y encasillar a las personas por el número de años que lleva existiendo 😅

Otra cosa también, es que, nunca he tenido una reunión de cumpleaños donde los invitados, sean más allá que mis familiares. Me gustaría poder tener un cumpleaños con amigos (primero tengo que hacer un grupo numeroso de amigos para ello jaja), en dónde se pudiera hacer un cumpleaños "cosplay", donde los invitados tengan que llegar disfrazado como sus personajes favoritos o con alguna temática favorita. Eso y que también adoraría tener una fiesta de cumpleaños sorpresa... Siempre he visto videos de personas a las que las sorprenden con una reunión de sus seres queridos, pastel y regalos... Siento que algo así, me indicaría lo especial que soy para quién llegase a organizarme algo de ese estilo. Por lo que, por lo pronto, prefiero celebrar los cumpleaños de los demás 😇
