Time to play with my macro rail
Last month i purchased a macrorail from my tax return money :) , but i didn't really have the time yet to play with it .
Today i have been using it in combination with my remote flash trigger and the godox TT685s flash unit , making it a lot easier to aim your light where you want it .
Although still with a lot of trial and error but there is no need to post black pictures so i 'll stick to the ones that turned out ok .
It was 6:30 in the morning sun not at it's full power and most flowers still closed. I was hoping the wind wouldn't be to much of a problem besides the temperture of 13 degrees Celcius .
But when you sit still outside on a balcony the wind does feel colder, and the subjects do move a lot when you use 5x magnification .
1 ) But we managed to get some nice shots of the flowers from the Erodium 'Bisschops Form' , this one is taken with 5x magnification
2 ) The flower is only +/- 1 cm in diameter, and they flower from May until September. Look @friendlymoose a closer look to the flowers.
3 ) Here you see the flower at 2.5 magnification
4 ) This flower is in a differend stage then the first one, here you can still see the pollen, while they are no longer there in the first flower.
5 )flower of the Delosperma , still waiting for the sun before it will open up.
6 ) Yesterday i posted the raindrops on the Osteospermum ecklonis , here is the center of that flower at 2.5 magnification.
