A polarized monocat for monomad
Good morning , a little photo sesion with our cat Jinx , she has been with the family since 2016, and from time to time i try to challenge her with the camera , to get some expressions captured.
This morning i used :
Camera : Sony A7iv
Lens : Sony 24-105mm F4 G OSS
Filter : Hoya sq100 Polarization kit
Flash : Godox X pro II s , Godox V1s , Godox S3, Godox softbox 40*60cm
Software : Darktable.org
I'm looking forward to go outside and try the polarization filter in nature to see the difference it can make , today i received the last converter ring from 77-86mm so i had to test it on the sony 27-105mm lens . And now i'm able to use the kit on most of my lenses. The filter does take 2 stops of light but so far it seems worth it .
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
As ussual arround this time of day the model was laying on her pillow
and the lady doesn't always appreciates it when you disturb her .
1 ) And she is definitly not intrested if you show up with camera and flash light.
ISO 100 f11 flash : TTL +2.3
2 ) But if you start playing a bit with toys and fingers you might catch her intrest and capture some nice photos .
3 ) But when there is a pigeon on the roof across the street you lose intrest , the pigeon wins ..
4 ) Oh another bird ....
5 ) right you wanted me to be model today
6 ) okay take your shot
7 ) That is enough for today no more pictures..
I always use several toys to get her atention but it's no guarantee that you get a decent picture it does take time and practice .
