Goodmorning today i give you some photos of the queen in this household Jinx .

This is my contribution to the #monomad challenge .

And today we used the Sony A7II camera combined with the Jupiter-9 85mm lens and my Godox v1 flash unit . some of the shots used an extra 16mm extention tube to get closer to the cat.

The trick is to make her look towards the camera , so in one hand we have a toy that always get's her attention and in the other hand we have the camera with mounted flash unit in TTL mode flashing in to a dome towards the ceiling to get some nice soft light.
Oh and i almost forgot to mention that the lens used is manual focus ...
This one is taken with the extra 16mm extention tube.

Personally i found this the best shot but posting one images isn't really my thing so here is the rest of the acceptable images i still had to throw away a lot.

This was the first attempt but she wasn't really interested and to far away for a nice portrait.

Using the extra 16mm extention did manage to get me closer to the subject but still not her atention..

Time to get a toy to work with her

You can move the toy to get the right angle and move her head in to the focus point since we use manual focus..

I always try to get at least one sharp in focus , and with the narrow field of focus it's not always easy to manage that.

And that is why there always end up a lot of pictures in the trashcan.
