5 Minute Freewrite: flea surgeon

Here we go, another freewrite, another day. Not that I've done any freewrites in a long time. Gonna try. Well. Just, you know. Here I am. I'm doing it. Be in the present. Flea surgeon. A surgeon (human) that operates on fleas, or a flea that is a surgeon. Maybe a flea that is a surgeon that operates on humans. A human operating on a flea would need some major microscopic power. A flea operating on a human would need a lot of time. And maybe some large tools. I guess that wouldn't work very well. Let's imagine a flea could hold a scalpel. But the scalpel would have to be very small. Could a scalpel that small even cut into human flesh? Maybe over the course of a long period of time. But humans shouldn't be under anesthesia for that long, as long as that would take. Flea circuses were a real thing, you know? The fleas would have little lines, wires, glued to them, so they could be attached to miniature things, like a little cart, or something like that. Do you think that's cruel? To glue a wire to a flea? Does a flea feel pain? I've killed many a flea by cutting them in half between my fingernails. Better the flea dead than a flea bite. I didn't imagine I was causing the flea any pain. And I would do it again. I don't want any fleas in my home. There probably are some, but I just ordered flea meds for the dogs and I have Frontline for the cats that I should apply like today. Or maybe wait until the dog meds arrive in the mail and do it all on the same day so they're on the same schedule. The cats don't leave the house but the dogs go outside daily, so fleas are basically inevitable.
