Winter Walk in the Snow

A wintery walk during the snow today. The snowflakes were giant and very fluffy. It's always nice walking through the woods when everything is covered in snow like that. It insulates everything and makes it that much more quiet.

Zeus seemed to enjoy himself. Rolling and diving through the snow on occasion. It's only his second winter in Canada and he still seems unsure about the snow.

We finished up the walk, @landonator went off to a friends house to do some sledding, and I plowed the driveway and shoveled the steps. As I was finishing up, Zeus starts barking at the front yard. Initially I tell him to be quiet, but looking on the road and notice this car went right in the ditch.

Luckily they were okay. A friend of theirs was able to come with some chains and pulled them out fairly quickly. The car was just about on it's side and the ditch was pretty steep, so they were lucky to get it out without needing a tow truck.

Made me think I should get some chain to keep in the truck.
