Demo of my newly acquired Les Paul Junior (not a Gibson)
I posted at the weekend about the second hand guitar I just bought. It is an Epiphone that has been made to look more like a Gibson, but I was well aware of that and did not pay a Gibson price. I know someone who bought a 'Martin' that was a cheap guitar with some stickers added. Buyer beware!
As a budget guitar it is perfectly playable with a good tone for rock and punk. The frets show some wear, but then it is 14 years old. I may get that seen to. I also noticed that the knobs are numbered the wrong way around. I guess they might be right for a left-handed guitar. I do not tend to look at them much, but I will consider changing them. They just seem to be very securely attached and I do not want to damage anything getting them off.
A different guitar can affect how you play, so I welcome some fresh inspiration. I need to learn some new songs.
Rock on!
