Shakespeare's sister

Well actually we were at his daughter's house in Stratford-upon-Avon, but I was reminded of the band of that name (named after a Smiths song). This small town has a tourist industry based on their most famous inhabitant. His house no longer exists, but there's a nice garden and museum there. His daughter married a doctor and had this substantial house.

The UK has so much history and some of it is still visible as buildings. Stratford is full of old buildings and businesses named after the bard. It's full of tourists, but then we were amongst them.

I was here on a school trip many years ago. Not sure it's changed much. I remember rowing a boat on the river. May have been from here where a small ferry takes people across the Avon. Reminds me of the ferry in Lord of the Rings.
