Opera browser integrates crypto wallets

The Opera browser for Android now has crypto wallets for Bitcoin and Ethereum. That's convenient, but is a browser the best place for this? They are complex pieces of software and you don't want some bug to leak access to your funds.

I'd not heard of Web 3 from Ethereum. It seems to be some way to access dapps.

I've not used mobile Opera and it's a long time since I used the desktop version. I'm happy enough with Chrome. On desktop we have MetaMask for Ethereum

Mobile wallets are potentially really useful. Steemit Inc promised us one at Steemfest 2, but failed to deliver. I think they were just talking about Apple as they considered Android less secure. @roelandp has a wallet for both major platforms. I've yet to try it as I don't have much need for it yet. In time I hope to be paying for various things with Steem.
