The News
As $HIVE struggles to get over 5c I see that the legacy coin is now under 4c and falling, so things could be worse. Mind you, they seem to have nothing much going on.
BTW I have been finding the CoinGecko site is acting strangely in Firefox as it keeps reloading. It is okay in other browsers. I generate the chart with a Python script.
If you have not tuned into the #hivethrive show then you are missing out. The crew of ,
,
and
have talked to lots of people across the Hive community. Lots of people gather in the live chat to discuss the topic of the day. The latest guest was
who talked about the re-launch of
. I have looked at it before, but there is a lot in there. What caught my attention is that it can pick up run data from Strava to show some statistics in a post. I have been using
, but that uses an API that does not allow public sharing of data. I did a post with liketu and that shows the run, but it will not appear in other Hive front ends. Maybe they will add support for that as I assume the data is in the blockchain.
I have seen updates from ,
,
and
as well as
so you should see new features in whatever Hive front end you use.

marked nine years on Hive. A lot of the old crowd are still here and active as they appreciate what this platform offers. It is not just about the rewards. We have freedom to build communities and applications.
has been running in challenging conditions. It is hot in the UK too, so I am taking it a bit easy.
Help Wanted
One of the friends I created an account for is having problems logging into Hive. Their keys have not changed, but now they do not work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix that? I did look at account recovery, but that may only apply if someone else changed your keys and you want to get control back.
The Dog House
There is a saying along the lines of it being pointless to keep doing the same thing in hope of different results. Some people do not seem to get that. Being annoying gets you blocked or even downvoted, but we can all chose how to behave. I will say no more, but I do not get involved in negative activities.
The End
We are nearly at the end of another month, so I will be looking to compile the #BritList. I keep hoping some inactive people will come back, but the low price does not help. I would also like to see people working on lists for other countries. I have made my scripts available for anyone to use.
Have a great weekend and Hive five (cents)!
