Morning Run: Fell Foot parkrun
@steevc just finished a 5.01km run, that lasted for 28 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 335.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
We have been at a family get together in the Lake District. This area is quite hilly with little windy roads. Some of us made it to the parkrun by Lake Windermere. The weather was a bit hit and miss with some showers, but loads of people turned out. That may be partly due to the school holidays.
The course does go up and down a bit and I resorted to walking a bit up style of those. I started off a bit too quick, but settled down so that I could keep going. It is always hard work anyway.
I was happy with my time that was not much slower than my recent best at our flat local event. Apparently it is a tradition for visitors to jump in the lake afterwards. I had a paddle.
This is my ninth different parkrun. I hope to visit some more.
Run free.
